End-to-End Intent-Based Networking

To reap its full benefits, 5G must evolve into a scalable decentralized architecture by exploiting intelligence ubiquitously and securely across different technologies, network layers, segments. In this article, we propose end-to-end ubiquitous secure machine learning (ML)-powered intent-based networking (IBN). The IBN framework is aware of state context to autonomously take proactive actions for service assurance. It integrated in zero-touch control orchestration featuring an ML function orchestrator manage pipelines. objective create elastic dynamic infrastructure supporting per-domain services operation. solution supported radio access forwarding plane, cloud/edge virtualization with acceleration. resulting supports application-level resilience through replication elasticity. An illustrative intelligent application use case presented.
